\n\n\n\n

Dumb Shnitt is a man of big ideas and little research. He is the kind of guy who could walk into a room and declare himself an expert on any topic after watching a three-minute YouTube video. When he isn\u2019t busy mispronouncing legal terms or explaining how \u201cgut instincts\u201d always trumped evidence, Dumb can usually be found on cable news, confidently misunderstanding the basics of law enforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m a natural-born crime solver,\u201d Dumb likes to say. \u201cI\u2019ve watched Law & Order<\/em> for years.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

The \u201cExperience\u201d That Isn\u2019t<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dumb\u2019s self-proclaimed expertise in policing comes from a deep, deep well of\u2026 absolutely no experience. He has never worn a badge, never walked a beat, and his closest brush with law enforcement was when he argued with a meter maid about a parking ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that didn\u2019t stop him from positioning himself as a \u201claw and order guru.\u201d On one memorable occasion, he suggested that police officers should replace radios with \u201cemergency flags.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThink about it,\u201d Dumb explained on live TV. \u201cIf there\u2019s a crisis, just wave a red flag. It\u2019s simple, direct, and eliminates all that distracting chatter.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A police chief called in to clarify, \u201cSir, radios are literally the backbone of modern policing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell,\u201d Dumb shot back, \u201cmaybe that\u2019s the problem. Too much backbone, not enough innovation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

The Dumb Doctrine<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of Dumb\u2019s most infamous ideas came during a heated debate about community policing. \u201cWhat we need,\u201d he said, \u201cis to simplify the system. Cops don\u2019t need all this fancy training or legal mumbo jumbo. Just give them whistles and let them handle business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhistles?\u201d a stunned reporter asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes! Like in the old days,\u201d Dumb replied. \u201cYou see a crime, you blow the whistle. Criminals hate whistles.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked how officers would handle complex situations like de-escalation, Dumb scoffed. \u201cDe-escalation is overrated. If someone\u2019s causing trouble, you just give them a firm look. Works every time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Conspiracy Chronicles<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dumb also has a flair for weaving conspiracy theories into his law enforcement \u201cstrategies.\u201d During one interview, he suggested that most crimes were orchestrated by \u201cshadowy networks of vegan anarchists.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThink about it,\u201d Dumb said, pointing at a completely unrelated chart. \u201cWho\u2019s the real enemy? The people trying to take away your hamburgers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At one point, Dumb tried to \u201cimmerse himself\u201d in police work by spending a day at the local academy. It did not go well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked to participate in a training exercise, Dumb repeatedly shouted, \u201cCitizens\u2019 arrest!\u201d while trying to handcuff a CPR dummy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s not how this works,\u201d the instructor sighed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell,\u201d Dumb countered, \u201cmaybe it should<\/em> work like this. Ever think of that?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, during a ride-along, Dumb insisted on directing traffic after a minor fender bender. His attempts to create a \u201chuman roundabout\u201d resulted in a six-car pileup. \u201cYou\u2019re welcome,\u201d he told the frustrated officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dumb\u2019s Big Finish<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Despite the obvious flaws in his ideas, Dumb Shnitt continued to double down on his \u201creforms.\u201d His crowning achievement was a proposed national initiative called \u201cStop, Whistle, Go,\u201d which he described as \u201cthe next big thing in policing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dumb Shnitt\u2019s journey into law enforcement reform is as misguided as it is entertaining. While his ideas often defy logic\u2014and gravity\u2014he never let facts or common sense slow him down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
